Fishing report 13/5/13

Rain and gusty winds at Glensherup reservoir has not put the trout off the feed. Anglers prepaired to fish the down wind shores are being rewarded with great sport. Black and green flies are working on slowsinking and DI3 fly lines. The most important thing is to fish slowly as the water is still very cold. Buzzers, bloodworms, various cormorants, Daiwl bachs and pheasant tailed nymphs on floating lines are working very well. Steve Kinghorn fished buzzers for the first time ever on saturday and caught 5 fish for 12lb. Some other catches include BRAX 40 fish for 84lb returning 32 fish, Mr Decker 7 fish for 16 1/2lb with one fish at 3lb 10ozs, Cupar AC 22 fish for 46lb returning 6 fish, Mr McIntosh 6 fish for 14lb, Mr Bell returned 6 fish, Mr Eadie returned 4 fish, Mr Lorenz 1 fish for 3 1/2lb, Dave Crosbie returned 6 fish, Last Cast 26 fish for 60lb returning 7 fish, North berwick 15 fish for 35lb, Riverside fly fishing 15 fish for 34lb, CSSA 30 fish for 70lb.
